Starting in late 2015, the history of the ACM Group is short but our personal histories, and that of our cultures and heritage, is long.
Firstly we respect the land we are new arrivals on, we pay homage in Sydney to the Eora and Cadigal people, the Aboriginal tribe of the inner Sydney region.
We pay our respects to the first European and Chinese people who in many cases exploited the land and its bounties, but who are part of Australia’s short history.
Among our ACM Group are some Vietnamese boat people and they personally and collectively are leaving an indelible mark on Sydney if not even across Australia.
The joys and talents of Korean, Japanese and Thai foodies and chefs also make up people in the ACM Group Sydney division.
And just this week we found some Burmese, Indian and Sri Lankan people who will be contributing their writings and philosophies to the ACM Group.
